Central Series GS at Dodge Ridge.  BASE test, GS drills, & free skiing for racers
training at Sierra Summit
Feb. 9-10-11
Speed training daily if possible.  Alternate SL & GS gate drills.  Free skiing in afternoon.
 
J3 JO Qualifier 3SG Mammoth
Feb. 16-17-18
Speed training daily if possible.  Alternate SL & GS gate drills.  Free skiing in afternoon.
Feb. 23-24
J4 Festival Qualifier at ______; SL & GS.  This race is by invitation only Speed training
daily if possible. GS gate drills. Prepare for Sierra Summit Race.
Mar. 1-2
Central Series SG at Sierra Summit.  No training.  We will need help from all parents
for this event.  Parents are expected to help put on our race!
Mar. 8-9
BASE test drills.  SL & SG training.  Speed training daily if possible.  Free skiing in
afternoon.  
J3 JO qualifier 3GS Squaw Valley (3/7-9/07)
Mar. 15-24
Spring Break.  Central Series SL at Badger Pass 3/15-16/07.  J4 - Training will
depend on attendance and snow conditions.  BASE test drills.  SL & GS training.  
Speed training daily if possible.  Free skiing in afternoon.
Mar. 24-25
BASE test drills.  SL & GS training.  Speed training if possible.  Free skiing in afternoon.
Mar. 29-30?
Training will depend on attendance and snow conditions.  BASE test drills.  SL & GS
training.  Speed training daily if possible.  Free skiing in afternoon.  
3/27-30/07 J4-5
Far West Champs at Northstar; 1SL; 1GS; 1SG

training.  Speed training daily if possible.  Free skiing in afternoon.
4/4-5/07 Mid-J3 Far West Champs at Squaw Valley 2GS
4/6-7/07 Mid-J3 Far West Champs at Auburn Ski Club 2SL
Apr. 12-13
Training will depend on attendance and snow conditions.  J3's intending to go to Far
West Champs are expected to train!
Apr. 18-24
Mid-J3 Far WEst Champs at Mammoth; 1 GS/2 SG/3 DH.  Training will depend on
attendance and snow conditions.  Training beyond this weekend will depend on
interest and snow availability.
  • Training is intended to improve racing skills and will depend on interest
    and level of racers attending.
  • We will have time trials when conditions and help permit.  We need a
    starter & 1-2 extra spotters in order to hold safe time trial intervals.
  • Helmets are now required by USSA for all Alpine events including slalom.  
    (GS, SG, DH have been required for years!).  All racers and coaches must
    follow this rule for safety's sake!
